Yan Yongjun

Introduction

Yan Yongjun is a Doctor of Law from Renmin University of China, dual-listed legal expert in the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance’s PPP expert database, and a co-supervisor for master’s students at China University of Political Science and Law. With outstanding professional expertise, Yan has been repeatedly recognised in the “Legal 500” recommended lawyer list for Real Estate and Construction.

With over 27 years of legal practice experience, he has served as legal counsel for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China Salt Industry Group, and China Power Engineering Consulting Group. In the field of PPP projects, he has led legal services for multiple major projects including the National Speed Skating Oval for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. He possesses extensive practical experience in both non-litigation and litigation matters. In academic research, he consistently combines theory with practice and has authored numerous professional articles published in authoritative media and journals such as China Bidding, Invest in Beijing, and China Lawyers.
