Introduction
Vincent Sun is a founding partner of Shanghai Young-Ben Law Firm. He has an LLM degree from Duke University and East China University of Political Science and Law. In 2017, Sun established Shanghai Young-Ben Law Firm as a founding partner. In 2010, he was admitted to practice in New York State, US. In 2014, he was recognized as Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers in Shanghai Municipality. In 2016, he was awarded Chinese Leading Lawyer on International Practice by All China Lawyers Association. In 2018, he was selected into the Talent Pool of China’s 1,000 Lawyers on Foreign-Related Matters by the National Ministry of Justice.
Sun specializes in commercial dispute resolution and arbitration; finance; equity investment. He has extensive experience in domestic and foreign investment, PE fund, syndicated loan, cross-border financing, insurance and commercial trust. He was also engaged as the leading litigator in resolving complex and high-end litigation and commercial arbitration cases, primarily involving disputes in relation to financial matters, equity investments, and international commerce etc. He has provided comprehensive legal support on China-based and cross-border dispute resolutions for a number of finance institutions, multinational enterprises and renowned local enterprises. In addition, Sun maintains the cooperation with numerous international and Asian law firms in order to provide legal support to global investors.
Sun currently served on the panel of arbitrators of Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC); panel of arbitrators of Hangzhou Arbitration Commission (HAC); a member of International Matters Committee of SBA; a member of Expert Panel of Issuance Asset Management Association of China; Off-Campus mentor of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law; Independent director of Goldenmax (“GDM”, Equity Code: 002636); Independent director of Franklin Templeton Sealand Fund Management Co., Ltd. and so forth.
