Anuradha Agnihotri joins HSF to leverage India disputes expertise

Leading arbitration specialist Anuradha Agnihotri has joined Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) as an of counsel in London to strengthen the firm’s India disputes practice.

Andrew Cannon, head of the India disputes group at HSF, said, “India is the world’s fifth largest economy and is growing very rapidly, making India a major market for many of our key clients … Anuradha’s extensive on-the-ground disputes experience in this market adds a new dimension to our India practice and is an important step forward in the services we can offer to those clients.”

Agnihotri was previously a partner in the Indian law firm Trilegal, and joined HSF following her move to London.

Her focus is commercial dispute resolution with extensive experience in international arbitration. She has represented clients in complex disputes, including those arising out of shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements and large construction projects.

With a multidisciplinary global disputes team of world-leading sector specialists and regional experts, HSF provides commercial insight in India and overseas. The firm’s India practice operates out of offices in London, Singapore, Dubai and Hong Kong.
