Li Haibo

Introduction

Li Haibo is a senior partner and director of the financial department at Landing Law Offices. He serves as the chairman of the Youth Entrepreneurs Club at the Fudan University Real Estate Finance Alumni Association, an external mentor at the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL), a part-time lecturer for the master’s programme in finance at Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and vice president and joint secretary-general of the Shanghai Alumni Association of Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance (PBCSF). He was a mentor for the 2022 Shanghai Sci-Tech Enterprise Tank and participated as a guest speaker at the Shanghai Sci-Tech Enterprise Establishment Conference, sharing insights on the “Legal Pitfalls for Sci-Tech Enterprises”.

Li graduated from ECUPL with a bachelor’s degree in law. After gaining extensive work experience in courts and procuratorates, he pursued further studies, earning a master’s degree in business law from the University of Hertfordshire and a PhD in global finance from the PBCSF at Tsinghua University. He also served as the chief partner at Yuanwen (Shanghai) Law Firm before joining Landing.

Li’s practice areas encompass corporate M&A, investment, financing, commercial dispute resolution, and international litigation and arbitration. His expertise also extends to banking, securities, trusts, futures, PE funds, financing leases and factoring. He acts as a long-term legal adviser or project attorney for many listed and pre-listed companies, large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises, and government agencies.

Li boasts a diverse clientele spanning numerous sectors, with a strong emphasis on monetary and financial services, capital market services, real estate, software and information technology services, business services, wholesale trade, promotion and application of scientific and technological advancements, resident services, internet and related services, as well as research and experimental development.
