Ren Yanling

Introduction

Ren Yanling joined Tian Yuan Law Firm in 1995 and has served as the firm’s managing partner since 2011. From 2011 to 2024, she also held the position of executive director. Ren specialises in domestic and cross-border corporate investment and M&A, private equity, debt and asset restructuring, complex transactions and dispute resolution. She has extensive experience in industries such as new energy and mining, real estate and infrastructure, culture and tourism, healthcare and wellness, and integrated logistics, with particular expertise in handling complex transactions in these sectors. She has represented more than a dozen central and state-owned enterprises in completing more than 100 major asset restructuring and M&A projects. Her representative clients include China Resources Land, SINOTRANS & CSC, CCCC Dredging Group and Sino-Ocean Group.

In 2023, Ren was recognised with the Lexis-Nexis Women to Watch and named among the Top 15 Female Lawyers and Top 15 M&A Lawyers by Asian Legal Business China. She has also been honoured as an Outstanding Lawyer of Beijing and one of Beijing’s Top 10 Female Lawyers by the Beijing Lawyers Association. For many consecutive years, she has been ranked in the Top Tier by leading legal directories such as Chambers, Legal 500 and LEGALBAND. In addition, she has received numerous national and municipal honours, including the National March 8 Red-Banner Pacesetter awarded by the All-China Women’s Federation, the Beijing March 8 Red-Banner Medal from the Beijing Women’s Federation, and the Outstanding Talent Award presented by the Xicheng District Government.
