Huang Zaizai

Introduction

Huang Zaizai is a partner at Tian Yuan Law Firm’s Beijing office. Prior to joining Tian Yuan, he held legal, compliance and internal audit roles at various financial institutions.

In asset management and securitisation, he provides comprehensive legal services to trusts, banks, asset management companies, securities firms and fund companies regarding products such as trust plans, wealth management products, credit/equity investments, private/public funds and asset-backed plans. He excels at designing transaction structures to mitigate legal and compliance risks and assists clients with business innovation amid evolving regulations.

For infrastructure and project finance, he advises government entities, enterprises and financial institutions on the initiation, participation, investment and operation of infrastructure, public service, land development and area development projects. He also supports real estate companies and financial institutions in real estate investment and financing matters.

In insurance and reinsurance, Huang serves as legal counsel to multiple insurers, advising on insurance business and the use of insurance funds, with deep insight into their business models and risk controls.

Regarding risk resolution and dispute settlement, he specialises in handling risks and disputes involving asset management products, securitisation, private funds, infrastructure and real estate. Adhering to the principle of “early intervention and multi-faceted risk resolution”, he has led teams in effectively managing risk incidents for trusts, asset management companies, construction firms and private funds.
