Summit Chen

Introduction

Summit Chen, a first-grade lawyer, is the vice-chair of Dacheng China’s advisory committee and a senior partner at Dacheng Law Offices.

Chen has focused on rendering legal services to large-scale commercial entities and institutions. With his solid legal training and knowledge in economics and through the application of laws, regulations and government policies, as well as in-depth and forward-looking research into domestic and foreign commercial environments and practices, he is particularly adept at providing globally oriented legal advice within the legal framework and in conjunction with a company’s specific business model, which accords with commercial logic, as well as devising creative project solutions.

Chen is a 15th and 16th Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress deputy, the vice president of the Shanghai Law Society’s Belt and Road Law Research Association and the Case Law Research Association, a part-time professor at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics’ Dishui Lake Advanced Institute, a distinguished professor at East China University of Political Science and Law’s Lawyering College, and a part-time master’s supervisor at Fudan University Law School and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. He serves as an arbitrator at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and more than 10 other arbitration institutions.
