Chris Lambert

Introduction

Chris heads Robertsons’ private equity and commercial department.

He has been advising on M&A, funds and corporate law in Hong Kong for more than three decades. Chris handles various securities and compliance matters and works with players across the fintech sector on legal and regulatory issues. Chris has advised private and listed company boards – as well as individual directors – on all forms of compliance matters. He also represents minority shareholders concerned with corporate misfeasance.

Chris is well experienced in the financial services sector, advising on service conditions and benefits for senior management and the enforceability of post-termination covenants.

He frequently speaks on directors’ duties and responsibilities and issues relating to Hong Kong company law.

He has appeared in the Visionaries’ Category on the A-List in both 2024 and 2025 of China’s Elite Lawyers published by the China Business Law Journal and was awarded Managing Partner of the Year in both 2023 and 2025 at the ALB Hong Kong Law Awards.
