Eric Chow

Introduction

Eric Chow is the founding partner and managing partner of Eric Chow & Co in association with Commerce & Finance Law Offices. He has more than 19 years of experience advising multinational, PRC and Hong Kong-based enterprises and investment banks on a wide range of corporate finance transactions. Eric’s practice focuses on corporate finance transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, M&A, takeovers, joint ventures, Hong Kong listing rules compliance matters and other commercial transactions.

Prior to his association with Commerce and Finance Law offices, Eric Chow worked for more than 10 years in the Hong Kong listing and financing departments of Paul Hastings and Norton Rose Fulbright. He was also seconded to Morgan Stanley’s Asia legal department from 2014 to 2015, where he was primarily responsible for projects related to Morgan Stanley’s international capital markets and investment banking divisions.

Chow was named as an A-List Elite 100 lawyers by China Business Law Journal in 2022 to 2024, recognised as one of the “40 under 40” in 2021, and shortlisted as the “Managing Partner of the Year” in 2022 to 2025 by Asian Legal Business. Eric is qualified to practise Hong Kong and PRC law (civil and commercial legal matters) in the nine Pearl River Delta municipalities of the Greater Bay Area.
