DaHui Lawyers has recruited Kenny Yu as a partner at its Shanghai office, bolstering the firm’s corporate/M&A practice group.
Yu has extensive experience in handling funds, foreign investments, cross-border M&A, PE/VC and corporate matters. He focuses on advising domestic and international private equity funds and strategic investors in proprietary buyouts, divestitures, joint ventures, growth equity investments and PIPE transactions.
The Hong Kong and New South Wales admitted partner previously worked at Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman), Clifford Chance, and Kirkland & Ellis as an associate. Yu was an of counsel at Weil’s Shanghai office, and he moved on to DaHui around the time when that branch closed.
