AZB & Partners’ Gautam Saha will soon be joining TT&A as a partner to head the firm’s National Capital Region office. Along with Saha, a team of 27, including 11 partners and a number of associates, will boost TT&A’s ranks by the end of this month.

Partners accompanying Saha to TT&A are Sachin Mehta, Ambarish Mohanty, Amrita Patnaik, Heena Singh, Pallavi Meena, Dushyant Bagga, Punita Gupta, Swati Chauhan, Nikhil Bahl, Shivranjani Ralawata, and Pragya Sood.

Saha was a senior partner for almost 19 years with AZB after starting his career as an associate at Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.

“AZB has been home for many years, and the friendship and bonds developed here will last way beyond this move. I am forever thankful for the wonderful opportunities it provided me as a young lawyer. But now it’s time to move into a new phase of my career,” Saha said.

“The team and I are delighted to be joining a young firm in growth mode and contribute to it in a meaningful manner, while maintaining quality and a strong focus on the needs of clients.”

In welcoming Saha, partner Kunal Thakore said, “This is a big and game-changing step for the firm as we look to move to the next stage of our development. We are looking forward to working together with Gautam and the other partners to continue to provide the same quality advice and client service that both are known for.”

Founded in 2007, TT&A currently has 11 partners and 62 lawyers.

Both Thakore and Saha feel that this development will lead to a significant move to increase TT&A’s pan-India footprint. We believe our clients and lawyers will greatly benefit from the natural synergies, given the breadth of practice areas spanned by Gautam and his team, coupled with TT&A’s strong reputation and presence in the corporate and finance practices, Thakore added.
