Introduction

Teh Meng Teck, the managing partner and a co-founding partner of Cheah Teh & Su has more than 35 years of experience in commercial litigation. A barrister of Gray’s Inn since 1983, he obtained a master of laws degree from the London School of Economics in 1984. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1985 and to the Singapore Bar in 2001.

Meng Teck been involved in corporate litigation and shareholders’ disputes involving both publicly and privately held companies within and beyond Malaysia. He has substantial experience in corporate and individual insolvency practice, pre-emptive remedies, receiverships and enforcement of securities. Meng Teck also has experience in securities and project financing claims by financial institutions. He has appeared in the high court, the court of appeal and federal court and has also collaborated with queen counsel and senior counsel in a shareholders’ dispute in multiple jurisdictions (Singapore, the British Virgin Islands and the UK).
