Fangda Partners represented China Integrated Circuit Industry Fund II in its investment in Semiconductor Manufacturing International (Shenzhen) Corporation, involving a transaction price of 531.3 million dollars representing 22% equity shares being subscribed and purchased in total. The transaction was closed on December 13, 2021. The Fangda team on this deal was led by partner Xueyan Jiang. Fangda handled the legal due diligence, negotiation and preparation of transaction documents for this deal. SMIC Shenzhen is a semiconductor company dedicated in the production of integrated circuit.
