Pranav Sharma, a lawyer with more than 23 years of experience in banking, finance, and debt capital markets, is rejoining Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as an equity partner in its finance practice in Mumbai. He joins from Trilegal where he previously worked for nearly three years.
Sharma, who is qualified to practice both Indian and English law, has worked on numerous banking and finance transactions across various jurisdictions.
Sharma’s clientele includes banks, financial institutions, multilateral and governmental agencies, state-owned enterprises, leading corporates, and private equity sponsors, both in India and abroad.
Cyril Shroff, managing partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, commented on Sharma’s return. “With his return, we continue to strengthen our capabilities to serve our clients both national and international. We welcome him back to his real long-term professional home,” said Shroff.
Sharma had previously joined the erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co in 2013 and was with the firm until 2021. He has also worked with Linklaters in the firm’s banking group in London.
