Nayona Roy and Manoj Panzade have joined Dentons Link Legal as partners to boost the firm’s technology, media and telecommunications, corporate commercial, and banking and finance practices.
Roy, who will be based in the Mumbai office with the technology, media and telecommunications team, has 10 years of experience in M&A, corporate litigation, regulatory compliance, data privacy, AI and intellectual property.
Earlier, Roy co-founded an AI-powered legaltech company, Unsuit, having secured investment from a leading venture capital firm, Antler. She has worked with AZB & Partners and served as general counsel for the tech-driven startup Qyuki Digital Media, co-founded by Indian maestro AR Rahman.
She has significant litigation and commercial advisory experience, having counselled leading FMCG companies such as Unilever, Godrej and Coca-Cola.
Panzade – an expert with more than 20 years’ experience in M&A, capital markets, banking and finance and infrastructure projects – will assume his new role at the firm’s GIFT City office in Gandhinagar.
He previously worked as an in-house counsel with Adani, SBICAP Trustee Company, Tata Capital Financial Services, Axis Trustee Services, EXIM Bank, Bank of Baroda and GE Money.
