Introduction

Kenny Poon is a founding partner of Jeff Leong Poon & Wong and he co-heads the firm’s corporate, commercial & corporate finance practice group. He has been recognised as a leading lawyer in the corporate and M&A practice areas by Asialaw Profiles, as a distinguished practitioner by Asialaw Leading Lawyers and recommended for corporate and M&A, capital markets and banking and finance by Legal 500.

His practice areas include takeovers, M&A, privatisations, foreign investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and initial public offerings. Having been in active legal practice since 1991, Kenny has played a pivotal role in leading his firm, which has been recognised by The Legal 500, IFLR1000, Chambers and Asialaw Profiles. He also heads the firm’s Myanmar Practice Group.
