Introduction

Jeff Leong is a founder of Jeff Leong Poon & Wong. He is one of Malaysia’s Top 100 Lawyers (Asia Business Law Journal’s A-List) and is also on Legal 500’s Hall of Fame (corporate and M&A) for Malaysia.

A senior and experienced lawyer of 36 years, with a stellar track record of IPOs and M&A deals, he is often consulted in heavily regulated industries on complex, urgent and critical matters. He designed the due diligence system used in capital market transactions in Malaysia since 1999 and assisted with the latest industry due diligence updates.

Jeff teaches part-time courses at Kobe University in Japan since 2009 and heads the firm’s Japan services group and China services group. He is also an accredited mediator of the Malaysia International Mediation Centre, the International Commercial Mediation Centre For the Belt And Road Initiative and several other mediation centres in China.
