Introduction
Iwan Nurjadin is a managing partner of Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi & Partners. He obtained a law degree from the University of Indonesia and continued his studies for a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at Northwestern University School of Law.
He has been handling complex aviation-related transactions for more than 15 years. He has represented aircraft owners in connection with the aircraft purchased or leased by airline operators and a financial institution in connection with the financing of aircraft acquisition in Indonesia. He has advised on fleet modernisation, corporate restructuring, and financing for aviation operators in Indonesia.
He was also involved in the establishment of the first start-up regional airline. He advises on cross-border M&A transactions, foreign direct investment, debt restructuring (acting for creditor and debtor), industrial relations, and general corporate matters. Apart from his aviation-based clients, he also regularly represented clients focused on natural resources, mining, and asset investment in Indonesia.
