Rosario Zacca

Introduction

Rosario Zaccà specialises in corporate and commercial law, M&A and PE, and has significant expertise in JVs and multi-jurisdictional transactions. Due to his strong experience in a broad range of corporate and M&A issues, he is frequently asked to represent some of the largest Italian and multinational companies, and handle complex transactions that require a sophisticated approach.

As head of Gianni & Origoni’s India Desk, he has extensive experience in assisting Indian companies in their activities in Italy, and Italian companies investing in India.

Described as “Mr India in Italy” by the 2024 Chambers Global Guide, Rosario is a member of the India Business Forum of Milan where he was president for two terms, as well as the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai.

Rosario has been a partner at Gianni & Origoni since 2001, after spending four years at its New York office. He was a co-managing partner from 2014 to 2023.
