Introduction

Divya Thakur leads Morgan Lewis’ investment management practice in Singapore. She has an extensive background in advising both established and first-time fund sponsors and managers in the formation of a broad range of investment funds, including hedge funds, PE, VC, real estate, and other structured fund products. She is also highly skilled in advising institutional investors on their fund investments.

Divya’s practice includes counseling clients on carried-interest plans, co-investment arrangements, structuring businesses and ongoing operational, management and compliance issues. She co-leads the firm’s India initiative.

Divya brings her deep knowledge of international fund offerings and market terms to her representation of an array of clients, including sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, investment banks, multinational companies, as well as US, European and Asian companies.”
