Introduction

Shivi Rastogi is a managing partner of Amicus Advocates and Solicitors. She has more than two decades of diversified legal experience. While her core area of experience is in corporate debt and structured finance, recently she been intensively involved with Amicus’ emerging venture capital and fintech practices. In that role, she has worked closely with the fintech verticals of her clients, including DMI Finance a leading digital only retail lender. In addition to her work as a legal counsel, Shivi has experience in investment management and was part of the core team, which raised and deployed USD75 million through an AIM listed fund for investment in distressed assets.

Shivi has also undertaken philanthropic initiatives in areas of women’s health and education. She recently instituted the SMR-StemPowering Women scholarship with IIT-Delhi for promoting women in STEM, something which she believes essential for ensuring that women receive the skills and knowledge needed to bring them to the forefront of the new economy.
