Introduction

Gaurav Dani is a founding and senior partner of IndusLaw. He is a US (New York) and India-qualified lawyer based in the firm’s New Delhi office. He specialises in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions including stressed assets, joint ventures and corporate partnering transactions, private equity and venture capital financings and strategic investments.

He represents public and private companies, private equity funds and venture capital investors in the automotive, e-commerce, food and beverage, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, technology and tour and travel sectors. He has led some of the largest private equity investments involving trend-setting investment structures in the e-commerce and digital media industry in India. Before founding IndusLaw, Gaurav worked with the India team at White & Case as well as prominent Indian law firms.

Gaurav has been consistently named in India Business Law Journal’s A-List of top 100 lawyers in India over the past several years. He has been consecutively endorsed as a leading lawyer for financial and corporate law by IFLR1000 since 2018 and as one of the most trusted lawyers in India in the Indian Corporate Counsel Association’s publication The Vanguards.
