Gorriceta Africa Cauton & Saavedra (Gorriceta) has named trio – partners Kristine Torres and Micaela Kristina Galvez and counsel Mark Anthony De Leon – as key leaders to bolster its practice groups in the Philippines.
Torres is now head of the project finance and ESG practice group, specialising in corporate, M&A, technology, media and telecommunications and capital markets.
Galvez, the new head of the IP group, is an expert in securities offerings, M&A, transactional advisory and legal due diligence. Her expertise extends to structuring transactions, tax planning and managing cross-border transactions.
De Leon is now head of the financial rehabilitation and insolvency group. He has experience in handling creditor-initiated petitions for corporate rehabilitation of special purpose vehicles, debtor-initiated petitions for corporate rehabilitation and corporate debt restructuring during his stints at Puyat Jacinto & Santos, Puno & Puno and SyCip Salazar Hernandez and Gatmaitan.
