Jonathan STREIFER

Introduction

Jonathan Streifer is a senior foreign counsel at SSEK with more than 20 years of experience at the firm. He advises clients on corporate and business law including investment, projects, acquisitions, financings and other commercial transactions.

Streifer also has a robust and growing dispute resolution practice and is active in the TMT sector, advising clients on data privacy, content moderation and other issues in the digital economy. He has recently advised several clients on carbon credit and plastic credit projects and other investments in the sustainable economy sector.

Streifer advises multinationals, start-ups, investment funds, entrepreneurs and other companies doing business in Indonesia. He is recognised by IFLR1000 as a leading practitioner in Indonesia for financial and corporate law.

Streifer earned his JD from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall) School of Law. Prior to joining SSEK, Jonathan worked for six years as a legal advisor to law firms in Jakarta and was also with the San Francisco firm of Shartsis Friese.
