Introduction

Arturo “Johnny” T Del Rosario Jr has been a cornerstone of Del Rosario & Del Rosario Law Office since its founding in 1977. With his admission to the bar in 1975, Del Rosario Jr has now nearly 50 years of distinguished legal experience in his role as managing partner. His extensive career in maritime Law, labour Law, and IP has positioned him as one of the foremost experts in said fields. His father and co-founder of DelRosarioLaw, Arturo M Del Rosario Sr, has represented maritime clients since 1946.

Del Rosario Jr has a track record of managing complex and high-stakes cases in marine casualties, crew claims, collisions, cargo claims, dock damage, oil pollution, and vessel arrests, reflecting his deep commitment to his clients and the legal profession.

Del Rosario Jr has also made significant contributions to IP law, dealing with trademark and patent applications and disputes.

• Professional: President (2015-17) IPAP, led the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines composed of top IP practitioners in various IP conventions locally and abroad;
• President (2008), Philippine Bar Association (PBA), the largest and longest running voluntary association of lawyers in the Philippines
• President (1996-97) and Chairman (1997-98), Maritime Law Association of the Philippines (MARLAW)
