Introduction
Aris Gulapa is a cross-border corporate and projects lawyer admitted to the Philippine and New York bar and licensed in Vietnam. After working for leading firms in Asia (SyCipLaw; Kelvin Chia Partnership; Anderson Mori & Tomotsune), he established Gulapa Law Office in September 2015. The 40+ lawyer firm is now known as “Gulapa & Lim (Gulapa Law)”.
Since 2013, Gulapa has been involved in every flagship Philippine PPP project. Due to the enactment of a new PPP Code in December 2023, he expects to be more active than ever. Gulapa assisted the Republic in drafting the PPP Code’s Implementing Rules and Regulations. Since the liberalisation of nationality restrictions on renewable energy exploration in 2022, Gulapa has been increasingly involved in energy work, particularly solar and wind projects.
