Introduction

Notable engagements:

Advised Hong Phong 1 Energy in relation to the loan from ING Bank and the bond issue guaranteed by CGIF. This is the first project bond for a renewable energy project guaranteed by CGIF in Vietnam.
Advised Credit Suisse as the arranger, the agent, the security agent and the lender in relation to the facility secured by shares in Thanh Thanh Cong-Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, a company listed on Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
Advised Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft as an original lender and an arranger for a syndicated loan to a domestic bank in Vietnam (i.e. Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank).
Advised in the financing of nearly USD800 million for the Keangnam Landmark Tower (the tallest building in Vietnam) by a group of Korean financial institutions.
Advised in the first domestic syndication in a total amount of USD225 million by Vietnamese banks led by PetroVietnam Finance Corporation (PVFC) for an offshore investment project in the energy sector.
Advised in the issuance of USD200 million high-yield bonds listed on the SGX-ST by Vingroup JSC.
Advised in the acquisition by Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank of a strategic stake in a domestic bank and BIDV Leasing Company.
Advised Shinhan Card in the acquisition of the full equity capital in Prudential Vietnam Finance Company, a top consumer finance company in Vietnam from Prudential Group and a major US bank in its divestment of retail business in Vietnam.
Advised the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in relation to its refinancing of the Dakdrinh hydropower plant, the first clean energy project for AIIB in Vietnam.
