Introduction
Aurora Nia Holm is the managing partner and co-founder of Kyora Law – formerly ANC Attorneys at Law – a boutique law firm. With more than a decade of practising law, she possesses specific expertise in corporate law. In past years, she has experience working on a range of legal services, including handling mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, capital markets and foreign investment cases. She also handled a number of cross-border transactions in Southeast Asia.
Her most prominent experiences include her engagement with Indonesia’s Trade and Communication and Information ministries in developing the country’s electronic commerce (e-commerce) legal framework and roadmap, as well as the review of Indonesia’s data protection legal framework. She has also worked with the Indonesian Investment Co-ordinating Board (BKPM) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
Aurora’s extensive legal work does not only engage her with government entities. She has also built impressive milestones in providing counsel to a range of domestic and foreign private companies from various industries in managing their businesses.
In 2013, she provided her legal expertise around Indonesia’s biggest foreign direct investment involving top Chinese and Indonesian state-owned companies. Her experiences have also brought her to a number of high-profile transactions with companies from Germany, France, Australia and other European countries.
She has been among the A-List of Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers since 2019. This year, she made it to the same list for the third time.
