Introduction

Saqeb Mahbub is trained as a barrister of England and Wales and an advocate at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He has more than 11 years of continuous work experience in Bangladesh, serving clients in manufacturing, aviation, energy, services and tech industries.

Having started his career at Huq and Company, the leading name in dispute resolution, he joined Mahbub & Company in 2013 and has been a catalyst for transformation at the firm and, in particular, the corporate and commercial practice. Saqeb Mahbub leads nearly all the firm’s high stakes commercial arbitration matters and leads the firm’s corporate and M&A works. He has been instrumental in the firm’s deep inroads in the foreign investment and technology M&A markets.
