Vincent Ariesta Lie

Vincent Lie is a Partner at Makarim & Taira S who combines broad legal experience with a keen sense for clients’ business context. Vincent is able to counsel clients with a view to their commercial objectives and the regulatory landscape. Besides handling traditional corporate practice areas, he is also familiar with fast-evolving growth sectors in Indonesia such as energy and the digital.

He has represented prominent companies in a variety of proceedings and transactions such as, but not limited to, corporate and commercial matters including acquisitions and project financing, arbitration including enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, natural resources and energy (mining, oil and gas, power plants), and information technology/startups.

Vincent has spoken at various seminars and conferences on power plants, mining, and energy resources arranged by In-House Congress, the Asian Law Students’ Association, Padjajaran University and Pelita Harapan University.
