Sameena Chatrapathy

Introduction

Sameena Chatrapathy co-heads the firm’s Chennai office and has been a part of the team since its inception. She has worked on many PE, M&A and debt transactions representing some of the most renowned businesses as well as collaborated with financial institutions, both in India and overseas.

Sameena spearheaded the setting up of the real estate practice at the firm’s Chennai office with a large dedicated team that now caters to all matters in this space across jurisdictions for both private clients as well as corporates. Personally, on account of her interest in women’s rights she has pioneered the firm’s initiative to bring establishments in compliance with sexual harassment laws and works with counselling people in need by specifically dedicating her time towards service. She has been recognised among many forums, including Forbes, Business World and Asialaw for her achievements and contribution to the field of law.
