S&A Law Offices acts for Air India Assets Holding Limited (AIAHL) on the successful INR16 billion (USD168.5 million) sale of the iconic Air India building at Nariman Point, Mumbai, to the Maharashtra state government.
Partner Kumar Shashwat Singh Sawno led the S&A transaction team with the support of principal associates Vishal Singh and Rishabh Chauhan.

The sale is one of the most significant government real estate acquisitions to date and is a key milestone in the strategic monetisation and divestment of the national carrier’s non-core assets, which had been transferred to AIAHL for management and disposal.
AIAHL is the government-owned special purpose vehicle managing the airline’s legacy assets prior to its privatisation to the Tata Group.
