Australian law firm Clayton Utz has strengthened its national tax practice with the addition of Rimma Miller as a partner at its Sydney office.

Miller, who starts her new role on 30 March 2026, joins from MinterEllison, where she spent more than 11 years and was most recently a partner in the firm’s tax controversy practice.

“Clients are facing unprecedented levels of regulatory focus and increasingly sophisticated revenue authority activity. Rimma’s depth of experience – particularly her rare combination of ATO and private practice expertise – will be invaluable to our clients navigating this environment,” Clayton Utz chief executive partner Emma Covacevich said.

Miller brings more than 25 years of experience, including 12 years as a senior litigator at the Australian Taxation Office, and specialises in tax disputes, advisory work and strategic risk management.
