James BRADLEY

Introduction

James (Jim) Bradley focuses on cross-border projects. He has participated in transactions involving assets and participants from several countries in Southeast Asia, North Asia, North America and Europe, inbound and outbound. He has experience with baseload and renewables projects during all phases of project life. He recently passed milestones of representing the Quezon Project since the commencement of operations until the expiration of its 25-year power purchase agreement with the Manila Electric Company, 25 years of practising in Asia, and 35 years since joining Hunton.

Notable transactions or projects in which he has recently participated include:

1. An acquisition of indirect interests in the 126MW Downeast wind project in Maine and the 125MW Wheatsborough solar project in Ohio;
2. Development of a railway project within the territories of Laos and Vietnam;
3. Documentation for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), operations and maintenance (O&M), Lao PDR concession, the EVN power purchase agreement (PPA) and financing for the 600MW Monsoon Wind Project in Laos;
4. Documentation for EPC, O&M and the PPA for development of a 150MW wind project in Mondulkiri province, Cambodia;
5. Development of a wind project in Quezon province, the Philippines;
6. Acquisition of a luxury resort in Koh Samui; and
7. Strategic interests in the Mahanakorn project in Bangkok, Thailand.
