Enrique QUIASON

Introduction

Enrique I Quiason has been practising law for 39 years and specialises in securities law, banking and finance law, capital markets and M&A. He assists publicly listed companies, as well as private and family-owned corporations, in capital raising, financing transactions, sales and acquisitions, restructuring and compliance. He serves as a corporate secretary of several publicly held companies, including Lopez Holdings Corporation, First Philippine Holdings, ABS-CBN Corporation and Rockwell Land Corporation.

He graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1985 and received his Master of Laws degree in Securities Regulation from Georgetown University. He has authored several papers on securities regulation, including “Principles of Securities Regulation”, published in the Investment Management & the Philippine Stock Market (1995 and 2003), “Development of Securities Markets of Developing Countries: Theories and Policies”, published in 65 Phil. Law Journal (March to June 1990).
