Kengo NISHIGAKI

Introduction

Kengo Nishigaki is the representative partner of GI&T Law Office, established in 2020. The firm comprises 13 lawyers, including practitioners qualified in the US and the UK. Prior to founding GI&T, Nishigaki worked at the Tokyo office of one of the world’s largest international law firms from 2000 to 2020, serving as a partner in the dispute resolution group for more than a decade. He holds a bachelor of laws from the University of Tokyo and a master of laws from New York University School of Law, and he is licensed to practise in both Japan and New York.

GI&T Law Office specialises in anti-bribery investigations and complex international disputes, including arbitration and litigation in Japan. The firm also handles labour and employment matters, such as complex collective bargaining and labour litigation. It has a strong track record of supporting multinational companies, including major pharmaceutical and medical device companies, in implementing robust compliance programmes and conducting international investigations.
