Prajna Mohapatra has rejoined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice and will be based in the Mumbai office.
Mohapatra, previously a counsel at Trilegal, is a qualified lawyer with more than 10 years of experience, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.
Her career has involved different roles at AZB & Partners, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Trilegal. Her primary focus areas include inbound M&A, particularly in the healthcare, financial services and infrastructure sectors.
She also advises on private equity investments and exits, including both control and minority transactions, as well as strategic mergers, amalgamations, JVs, and corporate restructuring.
In addition, she provides general corporate advice to clients on various Indian law matters. She has worked with Morgan Stanley private equity and GIC Singapore, and continues to advise similar institutions on transactional and governance issues.
