Japan In-house Counsel Network (JICN) held its year-end networking party on 11 December at Pebble Beach Kitchen in Tokyo.

The event brought together the JICN board of directors, members and non-member in-house counsel for a California fusion dinner with free-flow drinks.

Providing an opportunity to connect with colleagues and meet new faces in the in-house counsel community, the networking dinner was part of a commitment from JICN co-presidents Angela Yuen, deputy general counsel (global legal, tech & innovation) at JERA, and IBM Japan general counsel Anthony Luna to keeping the network connected, updated and engaged.

The new JICN leaders believe in building a strong community network to enhance connectivity and resource sharing, while also benefiting the professional growth and development of in-house counsel.

“Japan In-house Counsel Network (JICN) closed out 2024 over some great Californian wines with an all A-list and award-winning group of jolly in-house leaders,” said Yuen.

“In 2025 we hope to continue to build on our community and bring value to our members with invigorating and stimulating events sponsored by dynamic corporates, law firms and organisations.”
