Introduction

CR Dua founded Dua Associates 38 years ago. As chairman, he provides strategic advice, direction and long-term vision to its 250 professionals for their growth and development.

His experience encompasses corporate and commercial law, governance and ethics, foreign investment and M&A. He is the chairman of Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care, for which he is also an independent board director. He is a member of the National Committee on Legal Services of the Confederation of Indian Industry and a senior vice president of the Society of Indian Law Firms, as well as a chairperson of its legal reforms committee.

Dua has been the recipient of several awards as a leading lawyer in M&A and corporate restructuring. He has twice been conferred with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution and Excellence in Law, as well as recognised by Forbes India in its Legal Powerlist of Top Managing Partners.
