Anuradha Salhotra

Introduction

Anuradha Salhotra is a founding partner at Rahul Chaudhry & Partners. She is an authority on IP law in India and an IP lawyer with an enviable track record. She has been at the forefront of handling contentious and non-contentious IP matters in the firm for more than 41 years. Her expertise covers the entire gamut of activities that go into the development and management of IP. Her tasks include heading the litigation team and directing all litigation matters, strategy development and client counselling, attending conferences and meetings, appearing on behalf of clients before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities, consultancy with regard to optimal management and development of IP portfolios.

Salhotra started her practice soon after enrolling at the bar, and in 1983 joined hands with Amar Raj Lall and Monisha Lahiri, two of the most well-known and respected IP practitioners, to establish the niche IP specialist firm Lall Lahiri & Salhotra, now known as Rahul Chaudhry & Partners. In her capacity as a founding partner of the firm, she devotes herself to the complex contentious and dispute resolution practice, advising and representing some of the biggest names across the industry spectrum, in litigation, arbitration and mediation as well as negotiating IP transactions. She has also done advisory work in the areas of licensing and technology transfer, and prosecution work for both trademarks and copyright.
