The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Singapore has won the ACC Chapter Achievement Award for Best Membership Growth and Engagement Strategy.

Representing over 48,000 members in more than 100 countries, the ACC presented the award at the organisation’s 2024 annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.

The event honoured individuals and groups who have shown strong leadership and commitment within the in-house counsel community.

The ACC Singapore chapter secured the award for its dedication to grassroots growth, achieved by emphasising member feedback and enhancing the local experience. They also achieved a 9% increase in membership by incorporating personalised outreach and follow-ups with both members and non-members.

From April 2023 to May 2024, they also organised 30 events including three webinars, a sunset boat cruise, summer party, family day, a party at Keppel Marina and two other networking events.

Accepting the award for ACC Singapore were president David Sullivan and immediate past president Terry Thornley.

Also in attendance were ACC president and CEO Veta T Richardson, past global board chair Tracy Preston and current global board chair Cristina Gonzalez.
