Sudipta Bhattacharjee has joined Khaitan & Co as a partner in the indirect tax practice at the firm’s New Delhi office. A partner in the New Delhi office at Advaita Legal since October 2016, he began his career with Reliance Communications before moving on to BMR Legal Advocates.
Bhattacharjee has more than 15 years of post-qualification experience, specialising in indirect tax advisory (including goods and services tax (GST), customs, international trade laws, pre-GST indirect taxes as well as state excise laws affecting the alcoholic beverages industry), tax controversy management and contract documentation.
