Induslaw acquires ASLF to expand in south India


IndusLaw will acquire ASLF Law Offices, a real estate law firm founded by Anup Shah with offices in Bengaluru and Chennai, which will become part of IndusLaw from 1 April.

“With this expansion, IndusLaw gains an increased foothold in south India, a talented pool of resources and a broader network that will enable us to expand services,” said Suneeth Katarki, the founding partner of IndusLaw. “[The merger] will help us create a niche in the premium real estate space and further cement our dispute resolution practice.”

ASLF partners R Sunitha, KN Geetha, Kempe Gowda and G Vivekanand will be moving to IndusLaw. ASLF also has 38 associates and 22 support staff.

ASLF’s practice includes due diligence of immovable property, structuring of real estate transactions, foreign investment in real estate transactions, civil litigation, alternate dispute resolution/arbitrations and strategic planning of real estate transactions.
