Priti Suri, the founder and managing partner of PSA, has over three decades of experience across three continents. A first-generation lawyer, she started as a litigator and evolved as a business adviser who is known for her pragmatic ability to get the deal done.
After work experience in the US and Europe, Priti established her base in India. She developed the firm and represents its international and domestic clients in the full range of cross-border M&A transactions, JVs and restructurings. She counsels on corporate governance, CSR and ethics, and works closely with senior management on the full range of operational issues and related dispute resolution. Her representations are over US$15 billion across a spectrum of industries.
An active member of the international bar, Priti chaired the India Committee of ABA for two years. In April 2017, she became the first Asian to be honoured with ABA’s prestigious Mayre Rasmussen Award for Advancement of Women in International Law. She led the Women Business Lawyers’ Committee of IPBA for four years and is currently an officer of the IPBA, chair of its Publications Committee and a board member of iTechlaw. She initiated the formation of Society of Women Lawyers-India, the first platform for women lawyers, and is its current president.
