Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), one of India’s top law firms, has established a new office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
“We have received our commercial licence to establish a presence in the ADGM [international finance hub]. This move would assist the firm’s domestic and international clientele,” said Cyril Shroff, managing partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
CAM Middle East will be located at Al Sila Tower, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
“CAM’s global reputation, expertise and commitment to excellence will contribute to ADGM’s ecosystem by further enhancing the depth and breadth of legal services available within the UAE and beyond,” added Arvind Ramamurthy, chief of market development at ADGM.
ADGM, is a global financial hub spanning Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island. It hosts a wide array of businesses making it one of the world’s largest financial districts.
CAM Middle East will specialise primarily in Indian commercial and corporate law and arbitration, drawing on the firm’s renowned expertise in these areas. Services will cover investment funds, banking and finance, corporate matters, taxation, arbitration, mediation, financial regulations, insolvency, antitrust, insurance, technology, media, telecommunications, ESG, and intellectual property.
Apart from its presence in Abu Dhabi, CAM had earlier established an office in Singapore.
