Introduction

Nguyen Thi Lang focuses her practice on all aspects of corporate and commercial matters, with an emphasis on M&A, cross-border investment, real estate, pharmaceutical and infrastructure projects. She has advised a wide variety of multinational businesses worldwide, counselling many leading foreign and local investors in Vietnam. Lang has lectured on a wide range of subjects, including corporate governance, investment, commercial, competition and anti-corruption law. She has written extensively on foreign investment in Vietnam, particularly on BOT contracts.

Lang earned an LLB (1999), LLM (2003) and Doctor of Law degree (2008) from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, and she is also a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association. Lang is very highly regarded amongst Vietnam’s business community with a stellar career in the law to date, having trained and worked in some of the world’s most prestigious law firms.

Lang has 20 years of experience practising law and acting for numerous (and a wide variety of) multinational, foreign, and local companies from all parts of the world and within Vietnam. She has a deep understanding of corporate laws in Vietnam and outstanding skills both as a draftsperson and negotiator. Lang’s practice encompasses all aspects of corporate and commercial works, with particular emphasis on M&A, inward investment, commercial and infrastructure projects. Being very well regarded in the real estate space by market commentators, she often represents international investors on land use regulations, including in relation to energy projects.
