Kadri is a senior partner of Guido Hidayanto & Partners law firm, with 30 years of lawyering experience. He is well respected and one of the highest achieving lawyers in Jakarta. He is a registered capital markets specialist and well-known expert on banking & finance-related transactions. He is very experienced in handling merger and acquisition transactions (both cross-border and domestic) in various business sectors, particularly in publicly listed company-related transactions. Kadri is a member of the advisory board of Indonesian Capital Market Legal Consultants Association (Anggota Dewan Penasehat Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal).

Kadri has been involved in several landmark banking deals, most notably in the merger of several local banks into Bank Mandiri, Bank Danamon, and Bank Permata, as well as the merger of three Japanese banks into Bank Mizuho Indonesia. He regularly advises foreign investors on the acquisition of local banks in Indonesia, offshore and local banks in their corporate financing transactions (including syndication) and debt restructuring, as well as representing local borrowers. Kadri has been involved in merger and acquisition projects related to BUMN, which makes him familiar with regulations and rules in connection to BUMN’s decision making.

Recently, he was awarded the managing partner of the year 2019 by Asian Legal Business, Indonesia Law Awards 2019. In the same year, he was considered as one of Indonesia’s top 100 Lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal. Kadri has a strong relationship with key leaders in government bodies, such as The Ministry of Finance, Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia. He is a well-known figure in anti-corruption activism, and one of the high achieving alumni figures of the University of Indonesia.

Kadri graduated from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree) and attended the School of Business at Cleveland State University, Ohio.
