Zhong Qunxin

Introduction

Zhong Qunxin graduated from Peking University Law School and has engaged in legal services for nearly 20 years, mainly practising in the areas of real estate development and construction, real estate investment and financing, engineering construction and dispute resolution, including urban renewal, project M&A, development and construction of real estate projects, leasing and operation of office buildings and shopping malls, sale and purchase of bulk properties, co-operative development, real estate financing, construction agent, whole-process legal services for engineering construction, and dispute resolution.

The China Resources Land acquisition of China Fortune’s Southern Headquarters asset portfolio project, led by Zhong, was honoured with the Annual Impact Deal Award by Asia Law Profiles, and selected for the Deals of the Year list by China Business Law Journal.

Zhong has advised numerous domestic well-known development enterprises in real estate, including CITIC Urban Development and Operation, CNOOC Real Estate Group, China Resources Land, OCT Group, Vanke, Grandjoy Holdings Group, Cinda Real Estate, Kerry Properties, Poly Property, China Jinmao Group, Kaisa Holdings, China Merchants Group, and Shenzhen Metro Group. He also advised several well-known commercial real estate companies including CapitaLand Investment, Fengshu Group and Tieshimen Group, and many other well-known companies in the whole process of the construction of their headquarters buildings, including WeMeve Bank, China Southern Asset Management, Boshi Fund Management, China Capital Corporation, Dacheng Fund, and Aviva-COFCO Life Insurance.

Zhong also provided investment and financing legal services for financial institutions such as CITIC Financial Assets, Ping An Real Estate, Ping An Bank and Huaneng Trust, as well as providing legal advisory services for state-owned enterprises, listed companies and outstanding private enterprises including China Resources Beverages, ZTE Corporation, Shenzhen Trading Group, China Life Insurance, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, CITIC Offshore Helicopter, Tunnel, and Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning & Design Institute.

Zhong has accumulated rich practical experience in multi-link and multi-type projects related to real estate and construction engineering as well as dispute resolution in such fields.
